Lab note
Fill ladders: why one compound is listed in several fills
Webb Peptides ·
The short answer
48 compounds in the Webb catalog are listed in more than one vial fill, most of them in two or three. Each fill is its own listing with its own box price. Compare the rungs of a ladder by box contents and price per mg: in 41 of the 48 the per-mg price falls at every step up, and in 7 it does not.
What a ladder is
When Webb stocks one compound in several vial fills, each fill gets a listing of its own: the same name, a different amount after it, a separate box price. Read in order of fill, those listings form a ladder. A ladder never mixes names. CJC-1295 with DAC and CJC-1295 without DAC are two ladders, and so are Sermorelin and Sermorelin Acetate, because each name is a separate material with separate prices.
Of the 48 ladders in the catalog, 32 have just two rungs. Some of the longer ones are listed below; every ladder has a page of its own in the price-per-mg section, with all of its fills in one table.
Some of the longer ladders
| Compound | Fills | Smallest to largest fill | Box prices | Per mg / IU, bottom and top rung |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HGH 191AA (Somatropin) | 5 | 10 IU to 36 IU | $65.00 to $215.00 | $0.65 per IU → $0.60 per IU |
| HGH Fragment 176-191 | 5 | 2 mg to 15 mg | $47.00 to $258.00 | $2.35 per mg → $1.72 per mg |
| Tesamorelin | 4 | 2 mg to 20 mg | $76.00 to $457.00 | $3.80 per mg → $2.29 per mg |
| 5-Amino-1MQ | 3 | 5 mg to 50 mg | $22.00 to $204.00 | $0.44 per mg → $0.41 per mg |
| AOD9604 | 3 | 2 mg to 10 mg | $59.00 to $247.00 | $2.95 per mg → $2.47 per mg |
| BPC-157 | 3 | 2 mg to 10 mg | $26.00 to $65.00 | $1.30 per mg → $0.65 per mg |
| CJC-1295 without DAC | 3 | 2 mg to 10 mg | $48.00 to $172.00 | $2.40 per mg → $1.72 per mg |
| Ipamorelin | 3 | 2 mg to 10 mg | $26.00 to $72.00 | $1.30 per mg → $0.72 per mg |
Box contents grow faster than box prices
Along the HGH 191AA (Somatropin) ladder the box contents run from 100 IU to 360 IU, while every box still holds 10 vials. The top rung carries 3.6 times the material of the bottom rung for 3.3 times the price. That gap is what the price per mg measures, and it is why a box price on its own says little when you compare rungs.
The vial count rarely changes from one rung to the next, so the rungs differ in how much each vial holds, not in how many vials arrive. Choosing a higher rung means the same number of vials, each with more material in it.
Per-mg prices do not always fall
It is tempting to assume the biggest fill is always the cheapest per mg. In 41 of the 48 ladders that holds at every step. In 7, at least one step up costs more per mg than the rung below it. The only safe method is to work out each rung, which the price-per-mg pages do for you:
- HGH 191AA (Somatropin): the per-unit price falls at 2 steps, rises at 2.
- HGH Fragment 176-191: the per-unit price falls at 3 steps, rises at 1.
- Tesamorelin: the per-unit price falls at every step.
- 5-Amino-1MQ: the per-unit price falls at 1 step, rises at 1.
- AOD9604: the per-unit price falls at every step.
Reading a ladder well
- Stay on one name: suffixes such as “Acetate”, “with DAC” or a component list make a different ladder.
- Stay in one unit: a few ladders are rated in IU, and their per-IU prices compare only with each other.
- Compare box contents and per-mg prices, not vial counts.
- When several boxes go in one order, the note on landed cost shows how shipping changes the per-box figure.
All figures here come from the live catalog when the page loads, so they match the listings and price-per-mg pages they link to.
